Estate sale signed ART Renaissance revival vintage brooch pinMode-Art, a jewelry company founded in New York City in the late 1940s, was owned by Arthur Pepper. This "ART" mark was used after 1955 as indicated by the copyright symbol. The company also used the mark "Mode Art" on its pieces. Mode-Art competed directly with Florenza in terms of style but the founders of both companies counted one another as friends, as related to Pamela Wiggins by Larry Kassoff, the son of Florenza's founder.
