This is a high end, complex, hand made beige and mint/sage colored Macrame necklace. It features jade beads in different sizes, placed strategically to enhance the shades of beige and green. The green sage weave and the carved melon jade beads look beautiful as they blend. The large repousse pendant features a pair of Koi fish swimming in a lotus pond. The clasp is stamped "Silver".There are no other marks. As is true of repousse work, the necklace is extremely light weighing in at less than 2 ozs.It is in excellent condition and appears to have been stored and not used. The Macarame work is extremely detailed and well made. Please see photos and ask all questions. I have not come across such beautiful hand work. Please see photos for measurement, weight and excellent condition. In Chinese culture, the koi represents fame, family harmony, and wealth. It is a feng shui favorite, symbolizing abundance as well as perseverance and strength, and has a mythical potential to transform into a dragon. In Japan, Koi Fish symbolizes good fortune or luck they also are associated with perseverance in adversity and strength of purpose, the Koi fish symbolize good luck, abundance, and perseverance.
